Branding
You can customise Permiso to match your organisation's look and feel. This makes the login page and dashboard feel like yours rather than a generic SSO tool, which helps with user trust, especially when you're rolling it out to a team that hasn't used Permiso before.
Where to configure it
Go to Settings → Administration → Application Configuration and look for the General and Appearance sections.
Display name
Set App Name to whatever you'd like to appear as the title on the login page and in the browser tab. This is usually your company name or the name of your internal portal.
Logo
You can upload two versions of your logo:
- Light logo: shown on light backgrounds
- Dark logo: shown on dark backgrounds (Permiso supports both light and dark mode)
Logos are displayed on the login page, consent screen, and in a few other places. SVG and PNG both work well. Aim for a logo that's roughly horizontal in shape; very tall logos don't display as nicely.
Accent colour
The accent colour is used for buttons, links, and other interactive elements throughout the interface. Click the colour swatch to open a colour picker and choose a colour that matches your brand.
Home page URL
The Home Page URL is where users are sent when they click the logo or navigate to the root of your Permiso instance without going through a sign-in flow. This is usually your company's intranet or app portal.
Preview your changes
Changes take effect immediately after you click Save. Open a new browser window or tab and visit the login page to see how it looks.
